Plus Daily have completed Stage 1 testing of sanitiser formulations which target a weakness in the coronavirus. Preliminary results using an in vitro surrogate model for coronavirus kill, indicate that agents within our formulations are as effective as ethanol-based controls in denaturing the surrogate virus model. These results were achieved within 60 seconds and had no adverse reaction on the skin. The testing of these formulations on authentic COVID-19 viruses is underway.In conjunction with Scientists and Virologists, Plus Daily has developed advanced formulas based on our core invention, in order to meet the global need for effective sanitisation products to combat coronavirus. These products include medical grade hand sanitisers, as well as surface sprays/ surface decontaminants that are specifically targeted towards inactivating COVID-19.Importantly, these targeted sanitisation products will assist health care workers in decontaminating/ disinfecting personal protective equipment (PPE), bed rails, floors, chairs, reception desks, keyboards, computer mice etc, in an effort to reduce transmission rates of COVID-19. It is anticipated that Plus Daily’s sanitisers and decontaminants will be quickly integrated into infection prevention and control policies as essential PPE in health care settings throughout the world.
